How to Unlock Different Endings In "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War"

The choices that players would make at the end of the game will unlock three different endings. Two of these choices are not really extensive as they were in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," but they still are interesting and feature insane twists. Some of the endings appear as though the entire "Black Ops" story would never have a sequel.

Although a lot of "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" players were claiming that the game actually has three major endings, the truth is there are only two. The other one features a couple of variations, making it seems like it is three. It is worth noting that these smaller variations are relative to the player's decision in the entire campaign.

During the Identity Crisis mission, Adler will question the player. To unlock the Good Ending in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War," the player must pick the Truth option. Doing this would unlock "The Final Countdown" mission. So far, most players claim that it is the best ending that could come out of the game.

How to Unlock the Bad Ending (Ambush) in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War"

If the player chooses the option Lie in the Identity Crisis mission, he should hastily go directly to the gate. It is located at the back of the safe house. To make this ending possible, it is important that the player has already unlocked this gate in the playthrough.

The player should then head to the backroom, use the radio and inform Perseus to coordinate an ambush since Adler and the team falsely believe that he is hiding at Duga. it is important to note that the player has a very limited time to do this. If the player fails to reach the phone in time, he gets an alternative bad ending. Meanwhile, using the radio allows the player to unlock the final mission called Ashes to Ashes.

How to Unlock Alternate Bad Ending (No Ambush) In "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

To get an alternate bad ending without the ambush, the player would still choose Lie when Adler asks him in the Identity Crisis mission. This time, instead of using the phone to notify Persues, the player will not do anything and would just let the timer expire. It unlocks the final mission Ashes to Ashes, but this time, the outcome is different because the player did not coordinate with Perseus to set up an ambush.
