A lot of intense turn of events is about to happen in Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 9. After the previous episode showed Kyoto Third Years, Toudou Aoi and Mai Zenin, confronting Kugisaki and Megumi, would Yuuji and Mahita have a fight this time?
Fans already had a glimpse of what will happen next in Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 9 after a small preview was dropped at the end of Episode 7. The teaser showed the new installment would continue the intense fight fans saw in Episode 8, per Epic Dope.
After Yuuji and Nanami-san went inside the theatre to investigate the deaths, they might have a heated encounter with Mahito. There might also be an epic showdown between the three after Nanami -san was seen dodging some attacks.
The trailer also gave a glimpse of Mahito. The scene used a terrifying red filter to highlight his features while smiling.
In the previous episode, Kyoto and Maki were targeting Yuji, and the latter had no idea what they would do with Megumi and Nabara. Maki believed Kyoto wouldn't do anything in broad daylight, while Panda supposed Toudou and Mai would come, Otakukart News.
Later, Toudou and Mai met Nabara and Megumi to tell them Yuji, their classmate, was already dead. The surprised Megumi asked Mai what she was trying to say, as the latter explained Yuji was a "half-cursed monster."
Toudou then revealed he met Megumi and Nabara to see if they could take Okkotsu's place. He then eyed Megumi and asked what kind of a woman he liked. Toudou then tore his shirt off and declared he wanted a tall and big-butted lady, to which Megumi responded, saying Toudou preferred someone like Mai.
Toudou continued to make a scene and said he hated having boring men in his life. He once again asked Megumi what kind of women he preferred. If Toudou didn't like his answer, he warned Megumi he would beat him to death.
To avoid a fight, Megumi revealed she liked a woman who had "unshakeable character." Toudou then called him boring, and from here, a huge battle began. Thankfully, Panda suddenly showed up, stopped the fight, and punched Toudou away.
Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 9 is set to be out on Friday, November 27, for Crunchyroll premium users, while free users will see it after a week -- on December 4, per HITC. It is expected to drop at midnight Japan Standard Time, while its release time in other areas will depend on the region.
The new episode will be seen at 10:45 a.m. Pacific Time, 12:45 p.m. Central Time, 1:45 p.m. Eastern Time, 6:45 British Summer Time, and 7:45 p.m. European Time. However, it will be a day late in Korea and Australia, as fans here will see the new episode at 3:45 a.m. and 4:15 a.m., respectively, on Friday, November 27.
