The much-awaited Boruto Chapter 53 will reveal the result of Naruto and Isshiki's intense battle. As there are questions about the favorite shinobi's future, will Naruto die or survive?
Naruto drained his karma powers to put Isshiki down, but it turned out for the worst when the latter brought Kawaki into the battle. The jinchūriki is badly injured, while Sasuke is also severely hurt, and Boruto passed out after the fight.
This puts Naruto in grave danger, knowing how the karma can work into "strange ways" and the marking is already done. In Boruto Chapter 53 preview, shared by Abdul Zoldyck on Twitter, it revealed if the karma is "engraved or marked" on the body, it would be "the end."
As the karma has already made its mark, does it mean it will be Naruto's end? It also hints that something may happen to Boruto as the "last move approaches."
According to BlockToro, although the preview seems to make it appear Boruto is in danger, it will not be the case. If something is going to happen to him, it is experiencing a new powerful transformation.
There are theories Boruto will let Momoshiki take control of his body to form a Boroshiki fusion so that they can defeat Isshiki. This brings hope that Naruto will not die but get locked up in another dimension. Naruto may also sacrifice his life force to stay alive inside Boruto.
Meanwhile, Masashi Kishimoto will take over the writing works of Boruto from the manga creator Ukyō Kodachi, Devdiscourse noted. The latter announced his exit as he, reportedly, has to put his focus on his new project.
As Kishimoto's writing will begin in Boruto Chapter 53, it remains to be seen if there will be changes or he will adapt Kodachi's way.
In the previous episode, Naruto and Kurama talked about the new mode after the fusion, per International Business Times. Kurama compared the new mode to nuclear fusion, saying the style was like "fusing two energy matters to make a new energy source."
As the battle between Naruto and Isshiki continued, Kawaki surprisingly arrived. Chapter 52 then ended with Naruto seemingly losing the war. However, Boruto suddenly opened his eyes that gave fans hope.
