Talks about the new My Hero Academia movie are going strong after the anime's social media pages hints at its coming. The franchise has yet to confirm anything about the film. However, there are now theories about its possible plot and the main villain.

My Hero Academia dropped a poster, showing Izuku, Bakugo, and Shoto side-by-side while earning new costumes. They are framed inside the Roman numeral three, and it comes with the tagline, "He will meet "The Three Musketeers."

According to Screenrant, amid the theories surrounding the film, but the most emerging one is All For One's return as the main villain. The "He" the post might be referring to is probably the Sensei.

The past two My Hero Academia movies, Two Heroes and Heroes Rising, showed All Might and All For One as the villains, respectively. The first movie featured Izuku, and All Might fought side-by-side, while the second film revealed Izuku passed One For All over to Bakugo.

So, the only way for the new My Hero Academia movie to raise the stakes is to feature All For One's return. The antagonist's comeback seemed to be hinted at by the mysterious tagline.

The term "Three Musketeers" has more profound meaning in the My Hero Academia world. The phrase comes from Alexandre Dumas' famous novel The Three Musketeers and the mottos of its title characters are "One for all, all for one."

It is the same name of Izuku and All For One's quirks called One for All and All for One, respectively, which may be hinting at Izuku and All For One's meeting. It is also possible that the movie will feature the villain's flashbacks, origins, and rise to power.

So, when the new My Hero Academia movie will come out? Comicbook noted fans expect to see the film soon enough. Fans may know more about the movie at the upcoming Jump Festa 2021, and if it pushes through, it may come out in the summer next year.

The first My Hero Academia film came out in August 2018 after Season 3's end. The second movie, alternatively, dropped on December 29 as Season 4 didn't get to start until October that time.

As My Hero Academia Season 5 will not be out until the spring of 2021, the possible My Hero Academia new movie will be out in the summer just like the first film. However, HITC reported the said possible release might only happen in Japan, so it remains to be seen when it would be out in other countries.
