The arrival of A New Star Approaches update in "Genshin Impact" introduced a lot of changes and content to the game. It also features a special limited-time event called The Unreconciled Stars. For players wondering how to locate and salvage meteorite remains in "Genshin Impact," these tips and tricks might come in handy.

How to Start the Second Phase of Unreconciled Event in "Genshin Impact"

The first phase of the Unreconciled Stars event in "Genshin Impact" tasked players to explore Teyvat and find seven meteorites while completing different single-player quests. The second phase, however, requires players to not only find these meteorites but also to salvage Meteorite Remains. But, before players could start harvesting meteorites, they have to complete The Crisis Deepens to unlock the ability to salvage these rock fragments from outer space.

How To Find New Meteorites in "Genshin Impact"

Players could find all the meteorites that could be salvaged on their map automatically. There are at least four meteorites for players to salvage at any given time. When the available meteorites are depleted, players could go to Mona.

"Genshin Impact" players should choose Astrology while speaking to her. After that, Mona will fill the player's map with new salvage locations. The four new locations are random and are marked on the map by a meteorite that appears like a big light blue crystal. It is worth noting that players could run to Mona when they run out of salvage locations.

How to Salvage Meteorite Remains in Genshin Impact"

There are important things to take note of when doing this task. One is that Meteorite Remains discharge some kind of Elemental Energy that could be nullified if countered by the player's complementary Elemental attack. Another is that when the challenge starts, the player must stay within range of the Meteorite Remains or risk losing.

To salvage Meteorite Remains "Genshin Impact" players just have to interact with the shards of rocks from outer space. Players have ten minutes to overpower enemies while inside the circle. Every enemy that the player defeats will boost their overall progress to complete a salvage.

Rewards

Aside from collecting shards, players will receive 30 Primogems for every five meteorites that they salvage. They also gain access to three single-player quests and will ger Fading Star's Might that they could spend at the event shop.
