Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, reportedly, look forward to decorating their new home for the Christmas season. While sources continue to update the Sussex couple's current movements in the United States, royal experts focus on the pair's upcoming review.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially left their posts as senior working royals, they entered a 12-month review. This will conclude in March 2021 and bring Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William together to talk about what happened this past year.

Speaking to the Daily Express, Robert Lacey stated that the upcoming review might just formalize and "conclude" the Sussexes' exit. This might mean that the Duke and Duchess will no longer be "royals" in an official capacity.

The royal author argued, however, that this does not necessarily translate to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry losing their titles. He explained that they might officially lose their HRH status but not their "actual title" of Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Lacey said that the couple already put their HRH styles into "suspension." Although they still have it, they choose not to use it since they no longer represent the Queen and the Crown.

As for the Dukedom, the royal expert stated that it is a gift from Queen Elizabeth, adding that she has "bestowed" them these honors. Just like any other aristocrats, their British titles will go with them "for life."

On the other hand, Dr. Anna Whitelock seemingly had a different thought about the upcoming Megxit review. In a separate report from the Daily Express, she said that there is likely "very little" change that will occur in Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's exit deal.

The royal commentator suggested that the review will focus on the "small print" of the entirety of Megxit. She claimed that this might center on the "commercial" and "media ventures" that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to pursue in the next few years.

Whitelock, then, asserted that the senior royals might likely decide which of these ventures they will allow and prohibit as the couple continues their new lives in the United States. In the end, she believes that this is what will happen in March as the Sussex couple shows no sign of wanting to return to the royal fold.

Several royal experts previously asserted that the Queen put the 12-month review in place for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to give them an "open door" for their possible return. However, the Sussex couple has since made several changes in their lives, causing many to be certain that they no longer intend to their old lives in the United Kingdom.
