Boosted by the convincing win he scored against an athletic Nate Robinson, Jake Paul called out anew on Conor McGregor to meet him on the boxing ring. The YouTube star, however, made clear he is not rushing to fight the Irishman but promised that McGregor will suffer the same fate as Robinson.

The second-round stoppage proved that Paul is the better fighter. The 23-year-old completely dominated his 36-year-old opponent. Unsurprisingly, Robinson boxed tentatively and Paul easily read the former NBA star.

The YouTuber knocked down Robinson and the latter kissing the floor at the 1:35 mark in Round 2 prompted the referee to stop the fight.

In summing up the fight, MMA Junkie reported: "Athleticism doesn't necessarily mean much in boxing."

It was not that Robinson entered the ring ill-prepared. Paul revealed his opponent was packing with power going to the match. Robinson had the courage and physique to box but it was Paul who was more prepared.

He said that it was a long preparation for him and it made the difference. Paul said he is in love with boxing and intends to continue fighting for a long time. The online star is convinced it was not a late start for him at 23.

Paul pointed to Deontay Wilder's career. The boxing champ picked up fighting at 21 and found success, and Paul said he can do the same or even shoot higher.

His record now reads two boxing wins and all in knockouts, and Paul said he intends to make a long list of victims. Among the prospects include Dillon Danis and McGregor, and per the former vlogger, the two will go down in the same fashion as Robinson.

Paul said it will be a long way for him and in no rush to slay the giants both in the boxing and MMA world.

Said the YouTube star: "I'm willing to be patient ... Action speaks louder than words."

Wait indeed is what Paul must do for now. Even if McGregor would want to take up on the challenge, The Notorious has more pressing concerns lined up in 2021, according to Sporting News. And top of the list is his upcoming UFC commitments.

First in line is the rematch with Dustin Poirier on January 23 and if that resulted in a win, the next date would be an epic clash with Khabib Nurmagomedov. The Russian has opted for retirement but according to UFC chief Dana White, The Eagle could still fly next year for a good fight and McGregor is a top candidate.

McGregor will be busy too arranging a boxing match in 2021 but he is to clash with Manny Pacquiao and not Paul. That's because the showdown with the Filipino boxing legend is deemed to be the bigger money-spinner.
