There's simply no stopping GOT7's new comeback. The idol group has just dropped the exciting music video for their second title track, "Last Piece," at the same time as the release of their latest album Breath of Love: Last Piece.
GOT7 has already dropped the first title track from Breath of Love: Last Piece on November 23 as a pre-release for their comeback. Amazingly, the "Breath" MV reached 20 million views just five days after its release, and the idols were quick to thank their fans on their official Twitter account. Now Ahgases are loving the music video for the second title track, "Last Piece."
Before dropping the "Last Piece" MV along with the release of Breath of Love: Last Piece, GOT7 took part in a special live broadcast on Twitter Blue Room. During the broadcast, the idols repeatedly teased each other by asking for "super sexy 애교 ('aegyo')." JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom also "spoiled" their own album by revealing the pictures in the photobook and letting their fans hear most of the songs.
There is little doubt that fans loved seeing JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom together again in a live broadcast that featured all the members of GOT7. However, some became concerned that it would overlap with the "Last Piece" MV premiere since the idols were so happy being together again and answering fan questions.
Luckily, GOT7's broadcast ended right before the "Last Piece" MV premiere, which Ahgases waited for with much excitement. As expected, the music video did not disappoint.
The music video for "Last Piece" takes place in the same location as the "Breath" MV but with a cool twist. This time, GOT7 are shown dancing, a cool change from their other title track that didn't feature any choreography. The dancing is truly energetic and once again shows off why the idol group won the Daesang for Performance of the Year at the recent 2020 Asia Artist Awards. Hopefully, it will lead to more wins for the idol group in the other award shows.
Breath of Love: Last Piece features 10 tracks, including the two title tracks "Breath" and "Last Piece." The first song was written and composed by Youngjae, while JB wrote and composed the second track. The album was released on November 30 at 6:00 PM KST, along with the "Last Piece" MV.
