A Million Little Things season 3 episode 4 is going to be the winter finale of the family drama. The ABC series wasn't able to deliver more episodes this calendar year, mostly because of the delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Still, "The Talk" will bring interesting stories before the show goes on a break.

A Million Little Things season 3 episode 4 sees most of the characters still dealing with the aftermath of what happened to Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) at the end of season 3 finale. He survived the hit-and-run, but the accident caused a huge change in his life as he may not be able to walk again.

Eddie is adjusting to his current situation, as well as the people around him -- particularly his wife Katherine Kim (Grace Park) and son Theo Saville (Tristan Byon). Although they're getting used to it, there's still a concern about what the future holds for the family.

According to the synopsis of A Million Little Things season 3 episode 4, Eddie's injuries put a strain on his marriage. What makes the situation even harder is that he's secretly dealing with the pain brought by the accident, and this could eventually cause a huge problem.

Meanwhile, Rome Howard (Romany Malco) is struggling with his movie, which leads to him finding an ally in Shanice (Nikiva Dionne). The latter is a "sought-after actress" who could bring a potential problem to Rome later on in the series.

As for Maggie Bloom (Allison Millier), she continues her journey in England, and she becomes even closer with Jamie (Chris Geere) at the same time. For now, it remains to be seen whether or not A Million Little Things season 3 episode 4 will leave a cliffhanger.

Two more episodes are coming before the winter finale officially arrives. The title of episode 2 is "Writings on the Wall," and it sees Katherine and Theo adapting to the changes following Eddie's accident. Maggie will also bond with her new roommate, Jamie.

In episode 3, "Letting Go," Katherine found out that Eddie's accident may have a potential connection with the mysterious death of Alex Stewart (Olivia Steele Falconer). On the other hand, Rome is still trying to deal with and seek help regarding his anger issues.

Maggie's journey about self-discovery continues in England, while Delilah Dixon (Stephanie Szostak) will prepare for her trip. After these episodes air on ABC, the series will go on a hiatus again. The official return date has not been set at the moment.

A Million Little Things season 3 episode 4 airs on Thursday, Dec. 17, on ABC.
