Shameless season 11 is allowing each character to have their own spotlight since this is the final installment of the comedy-drama. For instance, Carl Gallagher (Etha Cutkosky) will continue to live his life, and he's going to meet someone in the process.
Carl found a way to be part of the police force, but he recognized the consequences that come with it. He doesn't have proper training in law enforcement, making the situation complicated for him. While dealing with this matter, Shameless season 11 brings a new character into his life.
Recently, Deadline reported that Chelsea Alden would have a recurring role in the final installment of the Showtime series. She's going to portray the character of Tish, a potential love interest of Carl. The two meet unexpectedly, which leads to something more later on.
Tish is working as a cashier at a local furniture store. When an angry customer confronts her, Carl comes to rescue. This incident could bring them closer, and it will eventually develop into something big. Alden's addition in Shameless season 11 means that Cutkosky's character could have his own endgame.
Carl and Tish could get into a relationship and have a life together. Although nothing is confirmed when it comes to their romance, the latter will have a huge impact on the second-youngest Gallagher. It would be interesting to see how his story will wrap up.
Meanwhile, the second episode of Shameless season 11 is titled "Go Home, Gentrifier." Kev Ball (Steve Howey) and V Fisher (Shanola Hampton) are finding success in their new pot-selling business and it attracts others -- including Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy).
The family's patriarch is offering his service, ensuring Kev and V they'll be getting enough products. On the other hand, Mickey Milkovich (Noel Fisher) is also interested in doing a job for the couple. This is an opportunity for him to bond with other characters.
Meanwhile, V and Debbie Gallagher (Emma Kenney) were caught in the middle of a pageant showdown involving their daughters. As for Carl, he will continue to navigate his life as a young cop. However, some of the things he wants may not go according to his plan.
The series will drop another episode after this one, and it will be the last episode of the calendar year. In "Frances Francis Franny Frank," Debbie finds a way to immediately get out of the house but she lost track of her daughter, Franny (Paris Newton).
Shameless season 11 airs every Sunday on Showtime.
