A recent video that surfaced online attempted to make comparisons between the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the still unreleased Samsung Galaxy S21+ by highlighting certain characteristics.

The online community is abuzz with a recently posted video making comparisons between Apple's flagship smartphone, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Samsung's Galaxy S21+, which is due for release in early 2021. The same source that released the video comparing the two smartphones, less than 24 hours earlier, also released a video of what it claimed as the unreleased Galaxy S21+.

The latest video did not confirm nor show anything much in terms of the features of Samsung's Galaxy S21+, the South Korean tech giant's new smartphone that is set for release in 2021, though it did reveal the difference between the two smartphones' camera bumps. As shown in the video, the camera bump on the iPhone 12 Pro Max appears to confirm that it is among the smartphones in the market today with the largest camera bumps.

In the recently posted video, which makes comparisons between the South Korean tech company's soon-to-be flagship smartphone and the Cupertino giant's new flagship phone, the width of the camera module on the new Samsung Galaxy S21+ appear smaller at only about half the size of the one on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, Samsung's smartphone camera module does look a bit longer compared to Apple's new flagship smartphone. The size of the individual cameras on both the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Galaxy S21+ appear the same, though the ones on Samsung's smartphone are smaller overall since the South Korean tech giant did not bother integrating individual metal rings like those on the new Apple smartphones.

Unlike the previous video showing the unreleased Samsung Galaxy S21+, the recent one that makes comparisons between the two smartphones does not allow the posting of comments. Observers, however, say that there is no need for comments since many are already aware of the camera features of the Galaxy S21+, at least on paper, where everyone can see its camera specs are not that different from the ones on Apple's iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, if you are not yet that familiar with the camera on the two smartphones, you should know that both Samsung Galaxy S21+ and Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max use 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooters and main cameras. The only different thing among the two is how their cameras zoom in on the subject.

In the case of Apple, its engineers placed another 12-megapixel camera on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which comes with a 2x telephoto zoom lens. For Samsung, it opted for a 64-bit camera with 1.1x optical zoom and a 3x hybrid zoom capability. Though the latest video showing comparisons between Apple's iPhone 12 Pro Max and Samsung's unreleased Galaxy S21+ does not show these, many already are aware of the two smartphones' camera specs. Apple released the iPhone 12 Pro Max, along with other models of the iPhone 12 family, on October 13 during the company's "Hi, Speed" event, while Samsung Galaxy S21+ is due for release in early 2021.
