Jujutsu Kaisen second cour is now building the hype after dropping new arc, characters, theme songs, and more. As the first cour has now come to an end, all eyes are on its continuation.
Jujutsu Kaisen second cour will begin the much-awaited joint tournament with the heroes' sister school students. Fans are about to see the Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College's introduction and meet its new characters.
Weekly Shonen Jump magazine recently dropped the second cour's new casting, and there would be familiar voices coming to the series. In a post on its official Twitter page, it revealed Yoshitsugu Matsuoka would be joining the anime as Mechamaru, Rie Kugiyama as Nishimiya, Satoshi Hino as Kamo, and Yoko Hikasa as Utahime.
If these names ring a bell, it is because Matsuoka voices the character of Kirito in the Japanese version of Sword Art Online. Kugimiya, in addition, is the voice behind Kagura in Gintama, while Hino is Dichi in Haikyuu. Lastly, Hikasa lends her voice for Hine Tachibana in DomeKono, per Comicbook.
Now that the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc is about to begin, everyone is now anticipating its coming since fans saw it on the manga. In addition, the franchise also announced Jujutsu Kaisen second cour's theme songs.
Aside from the anime itself, fans are loving the show's theme songs. Now that the fall season is coming to an end, there will be a new set of songs fans are about to hear.
An earlier post on Twitter revealed the first details for its new opening and ending theme sequences. It will come along with the release of Jujutsu Kaisen second cour's latest episodes.
The opening theme will bear the title "Vivid Vice," performed by Who-ya Extended. On the other hand, the ending theme will be called "Give It Back" by Co shu Nie.
If these new theme songs are just like the ones the first cour have, fans are surely in for a big treat, hinting at what may come in the second cour. It may help boost the anime's action as Yuji will join his former teammates again to take on the strongest enemies viewers are about to see.
So, what will happen in the continuation of the second half of the manga series? The new episodes will continuously feature the chaotic battles of Yuji Itadori and other members of Jujutsu Tech.
Jujutsu Kaisen second cour will be out in January next year, along with the coming Winter 2021 animes.
