Chainsaw Man fans have a lot to expect in both the anime adaptation and manga continuation of the series. Anime enthusiasts are about to see Denji on the small screen as his story is about to end in print.
Fans are about to see the animated version of Chainsaw Man, handled by Studio MAPPA. It will surely be a good one, judging by how the manga story goes.
According to Epic Dope, there are now questions if the upcoming anime series will be as good as Dorohedoro and Jujutsu Kaisen, knowing it will be handled by the same studio. By the looks of it, the newly-dropped teaser visual hinted at what fans are about to see.
The clip shows Denji in his Chainsaw Man form, bathing in a lot of blood. It looks like he is ready to attack anytime, giving a glimpse of the incredible artwork viewers are about to see on TV.
As it appears, Chainsaw Man anime will be as bloody and gruesome as the manga. There is no official announcement yet about its release date or plot, but it will surely adapt the first volume of its print version.
Meanwhile, talking about the manga, its creator Tatsuki Fujimoto revealed his plans for its second part. The series is about to come to an end and continue with a new part. So, what can fans expect?
At the Jump Festa 2021, Fujimoto revealed, via Comicbook, Denji would be going to school, so it would feature the School Arc. The new part will be continuing the major cliffhanger from the first part's finale, called the Public Safety arc.
Chainsaw Man will be a high schooler as he continuously fights the devils on the sideline. Although it remains to be seen when the second part will be released, it will be an exciting sight to see as Denji begins a new life.
The first part, called Public Safety arc, ended in Weekly Shonen Jump last week after debuting in December 2018, per Anime News Network. It entered its final stage in November, while Shueisha published its ninth volume in the first week of the said month.
With its success, Chainsaw Man was nominated for the 13th Manga Taisho awards last year and got the fourth spot on Kono Manga ga Sugoi! or This Manga is Amazing 2020, a guidebook for the top manga for male readers. It also earned a nomination for the 66th Shogakukan Manga Awards.
