In the previous episode, Yuuji noticed the Junpei used the Jellyfish Shikigami. However, when Junpei was inside this servant spirit, the direct attacks would not work and kept on getting repelled.

Junpei then warned Yuji that he would talk for the last time, while Mahito's plan seemed to work as Yuji had to use Sukuna. When they started exchanging words and attacks, Yuji got trapped inside Shikigami, per Omnitos.

Yuuji got mad when Mahito betrayed Junpei and turned him into a curse. He then punched Mahito, who surprisingly bled.

Could not believe what happened, Yuuji later realized Itadori had two souls inside his body. As their fight continued, Mahito managed to create holes throughout Yuuji's body that let him touched his heart.

Mahito also mocked and asked Yuuji if he wanted to switch places with Sukuna. The latter then talked to Mahito, asking him how dare him for touching Sukuna's soul. He then warned Mahito to know his place. What would happen from here would be next seen in Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 13.
