Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is reportedly at odds with Friends superstar Jennifer Aniston and their rift has been going on for the last nine years.

Aniston has been cited as the reason why Prince Harry's wife is having a hard time returning to Hollywood. Meghan's plan to be friends with the A-list star is said to have backfired years ago, when the Duchess of Sussex had a small part in Aniston's movie, Horrible Bosses.

A source told New Idea that Meghan envisioned a friendship with Aniston when she landed a part in the comedy film. But her scene was cut down to 30 seconds only, leaving Meghan disappointed and "disenfranchised."

The insider then went on to say that Meghan bad-mouthed Horrible Bosses and its stars after learning her scenes were shortened in the editing room. A newcomer in the film industry, Meghan apparently felt motivated to prove that she would become "just as good as Jen." Others, however, saw her sentiments as "sour graping."

Meghan's behavior apparently reached Aniston that she snubbed any attempts from Prince Harry's wife to "hang out" when the Sussexes made Los Angeles their new home base. Sources said that Aniston has always been "suspicious" of Meghan's motives, especially when word got to her that the former actress wanted to be the next Mrs. Brad Pitt years ago.

But Meghan might not need Aniston's support to boost her Hollywood profile. She has Oprah Winfrey backing her up, especially after she invested in the vegan coffee brand Clevr Blends.

Winfrey posted a message of thanks to Meghan on her Instagram after the duchess sent her a Clevr Blends basket of goodies. According to PR experts, the famous TV talk show host doesn't endorse products on her social media on a whim. Thus, this promotion would be major for the brand.

Kim Kardashian, who has millions of followers on social media, also recently endorsed the coffee brand. However, Daily Express reported that the coffee samples Kardashian received came from her designer friends and not from the Duchess of Sussex. Regardless, the reality TV star's promotion to her 190 million followers is seen as a huge boost to Meghan's investment.

According to USA Today, Meghan wanted to support Clevr Blends because it has a "passionate female" CEO in Hannah Mendoza. Meghan also said that she believes in Mendoza, her company and her products for its "holistic approach to wellness."

It's unclear, however, how much money the Duchess of Sussex poured into her investment. Clevr Blends' vegan instant coffee goes for $28 per bag.
