Kate Winslet has become one of today's most successful Hollywood actresses. She has already received numerous awards because of her impressive skills in acting.

But, similar to any other success stories, the actress, also, experienced receiving destructive comments and criticisms from many people. Cheat Sheet revealed that the Titanic actress was even told to "settle" for roles that are only played by "fat" girls.

Winslet previously shared that she was an "overweight" child. She had her fair share of bullying from classmates and other kids during her younger years.

Several of these young people would tease her for her size, adding that she did not belong on red carpets. Peers would laugh at her and at her dreams of being a Hollywood star someday.

Apart from other children, though, the actress said that her teacher would, also, say the same thing to her. Speaking to The Guardian, she revealed how it all went down.

Kate Winslet recalled how her drama teacher told her to "settle for fat girl parts," noting that she might do "OK" with it. She explained that she was only 14 at that time.

But, despite all the negative and destructive comments, the Divergent star rose above it all and learned a lot of things from it. She said that "just don't listen to any of it," and encouraged other young women to do the same.

Winslet continued that she "kept on going" until she overcame all of her fears and insecurities. She, later on, shared that people have to be "indestructible" to do the things they all love. In her case, this is her passion for acting.

Earlier this month, Kate Winslet shared what she does to promote wellbeing, according to Mind Food. She revealed that she has become a little more "health-conscious" these days as she would always think of herself for the next ten years of her life.

The Steve Jobs star, then, stated that she wants to "maximize" her physical strength and maintain her skin "without doing anything" to her face. She, later on, explained that "beauty and wellness reflects in your face," seemingly hinting at her point that it all starts with the way one would take good care of themselves.

The same publication listed the things Kate Winslet does to maintain her beauty and wellness. Her number one health tip revolves around drinking lots of water.

As for her go-to exercise routines, she, reportedly, does "power yoga" a couple of times a week, along with cardio and walking with her dog. When it comes to her diet, she always resorts to green juicing. This is why her fridge would always be full of "spinach, kale, and cucumbers." She, also, noted that she is a vegetarian, while her husband is a vegan.
