In a few days, fans will return to their weekly Friday habit as Jujutsu Kaisen Second Cour is about to drop. MAPPA has released the preview of the animation's continuation, giving a glimpse of the next turn of events and revealing the new opening theme song.
Aside from the anime itself, fans are looking forward to hearing the new Jujutsu Kaisen Second Cour theme songs. Indeed, MAPPA is killing it with its perfect animation and production works, while Gege Akutami gives it an incredible storyline. The newly-dropped trailer showed the second part's opening theme, titled "Vivid Vice," by Who-ya Extended. The reveal instantly results in a huge hype, especially after the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine unveiled its theme songs, Epic Dope noted.
In addition to the "high-tempo" opening theme, the teaser also gave a look at the intense battle between the Tokyo and Kyoto students, Siliconera added. Fans have well-received the anime's first cour with more than 10 million copies sold.

Just like any Shonen anime, Jujutsu Kaisen Second Cour will continue to feature its tournament-style arc, where its main characters, like Yuji Itadori, will face an opposing team. Megumi and Nobara have taken part in the Goodwill Event, while Yuji has also undergone his own training.
Although Mahito has been devastating the fan-favorite character, Yuji has managed to recover from the curse that rips out his own heart. The Mary Sue cited that just like My Hero Academia's Sports Festival, the Goodwill Event seems to be "harmless on paper" as the school faculty has put it together.
As Jujutsu Kaisen Second Cour is about to drop, fans can expect to see beautifully-choreographed episodes that will test everyone's strength. The matchups can be very intense that viewers may fall out of their seats.
