In the Search and Destroy mission of "Cyberpunk 2077," players should save Goro Takemura to unlock all the endings of the game. Aside from this, keeping him alive can slightly affect the events along the line, including the game's final mission and credits. Players who want to know how to save Goro Takemura and keep him alive could use some of these tips and tricks.

How To Save Takemura

Players need to follow the quest as usual up to the point where Arasaka soldiers infiltrate the hotel and blast a hole in the ground. When V awakens, Johnny informs him that Takemura is toast with the quest markers encouraging V to escape the building. When V takes his control back, he should look for a room with a neon cross symbol on the wall.

Beyond the wall is a staircase corridor, which is approximately 30 feet away and illuminated by a feeble white light. Players need to go up, and they would know that they are going in the right direction because they will hear Johnny say that they've lost it. Players will also hear Takemura's distant laugh.

A new task and waypoint will emerge that will lead players to save Takemura. Players just have to follow through the hallway into a room on the right after killing all Arasaka goons. When players enter Room 303, they will find Takemura surrounded by armed men; players should approach him up against a wall.

The hostage will run along with the players to get out of the building. Players just need to follow the waypoint until they get out of the building and they collapse. At this point, Takemura will tell V that they have to part ways, for now.

What Happens If Players Save Takemura

If players choose to save Takemura, he will emerge if players choose the Hanako/Arasaka "Cyberpunk 2077" ending. Instead of Hellman arriving to pick up V, Takemura will be there and will tell V that he is no longer hiding in filth. Apparently, he is back in Arasaka's good graces. He will also be there throughout the final mission alongside V. If V does not save Takemura, he is going to fight the Arasaka forces alone. While he does not really affect the outcome of the ending, it would be fun having him around while players eliminate enemies.

"Cyberpunk 2077" is playable on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game launches on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S this year.
