There is little doubt that people have not given up on Daredevil. Although the Netflix series was cancelled after three seasons, fans have continued to beg Marvel Studios to bring back Matt Murdock for more seasons. But is it possible that Charlie Cox's character is done for good? Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige may have confirmed that Daredevil will not be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe any time soon.

Daredevil was a truly impressive series that introduced the Marvel comic book character to a new generation. The gritty Netflix drama revealed the darker side of being a superhero and became an instant hit that spawned more Marvel shows like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders. Unfortunately, the plug was pulled on all of these shows but that hasn't stopped fans from putting in an effort to bring back their favorite series.

Although fans are still pushing for the #SaveDareDevil hashtag on social media, the decision to bring back the character would still be up to Disney and Marvel Studios. So what are the chances that Charlie Cox's Devil of Hell's Kitchen will actually show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige may have shut down the idea.

Kevin Feige recently spoke to ComicBook where he was asked if there was any chance that the Defenders, which includes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, will eventually show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Interestingly, Feige chose to play coy with his response.

"I look at anything that's happened before, whether it's our movies, whether it's Marvel Entertainment TV series, and, particularly, obviously, the comics, video games, cartoons ... all of it is available as inspiration for the future of Marvel," Feige said.

But will they consider bringing in Charlie Cox to show up in one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe shows or films? Kevin Feige went out of his way to avoid making any comments about Daredevil. This led to some fans speculating that Feige isn't a fan of the Marvel Netflix shows and has no plans of bringing back The Defenders.

Although some people are not feeling optimistic about Kevin Feige's answer, others believe that the Marvel Studios president is avoiding the question because there is something huge planned for Daredevil in the MCU. There have been speculations that Charlie Cox could show up in the still-untitled Spider-Man 3 or in the upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk. However, this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.
