Beastars Season 2 Episode 2, titled "The Gray Police are Running for the Time Being," showed a colossal rattlesnake named Rokume approached Legoshi. He introduced himself as the only school security guard and asked him for help to solve Tem's murder case, The Cinemaholic noted.

Elsewhere, a meeting of the All-Organism Council discussed Cherryton's Beastar situation. Surprisingly, Louis, who continuously experiences an "innate inferiority complex" for being non-influential in the society where herbivores and carnivores live together, became Shishigumi's leader.

Although it remains to be seen what will be its effect in Rem's case, fans may know more about it in Beastars Season 2 Episode 3. The second season adapts the manga's Murder Incident Solution Arc.

Here, Legoshi will do his best to find a clue that will help him know what really happened to Rem. He may also prepare himself to face the inevitable, like meeting and having a confrontation with the murderer.

The first episode of Beastars Season 2 launched on January 5 on Netflix Japan. After a day, it was nationally released on Fuji TV in the +Ultra timeslot.

Netflix will stream the new season for the international audience beginning in July, per Anime News Network. Orange Studio developed the series, along with Fuji TV's Shunsuke Hosoi, Hyuntae Kim, Kiyotaka Waki, and Yoshinori Takeeda. Shin'ichi Matsumi directed the new episodes, while Nanami Higuchi wrote the scripts.

Beastars Season 2 Episode 3 is set to be out on Thursday, January 21.
