Queen Elizabeth is planning to go back to Buckingham Palace before the Trooping the Colour parade in June 2021 and Prince Philip will be with her, according to reports.

The Sunday Times revealed that Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh plan to return to their official home just before the major summer event on June 12. The couple will likely be in Buckingham Palace when Prince Philip celebrates his 100th birth on June 10.

Queen Elizabeth has not been in Buckingham Palace since she had to be isolated from COVID-19 in the middle of March 2020. Her husband, who has been staying at his farming estate in Sandringham, followed her to Windsor Castle at the height of the pandemic lockdown last year.

A senior royal aide revealed that they are setting up the plans for the Trooping the Colour parade. However, some leeway and adjustments will also be prepared in case the government of the United Kingdom would advise against holding large-scale public events, as was the case in 2020, because of the health risks.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburg had their first round of COVID-19 vaccinations on Jan 9 and will get their second jab in a few weeks. According to Daily Express, the Queen and Prince Philip will be free from isolation once they have completed their vaccinations.

Buckingham Palace didn't confirm if the elderly royals, who are both in their 90s, had the Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine. But the procedure will immensely help Her Majesty get back to business after the pandemic sidelined her for most of 2020.

Sources, however, said it's still unclear if Prince Philip will continue to live in Buckingham once the Queen moves back in to restart her royal duties. Following his retirement in 2017, the Duke of Edinburgh has been mostly staying at Wood Farm.

Meanwhile, as the Queen and Prince Philip prepare their return in London in the middle of the year, they've apparently gained new neighbors at Windsor. According to Vanity Fair, an unnamed Russian oil magnate bought Windsor Park Hall, the 13-acre property near the Queen's estate, for $29 million during the lockdown. He surveyed the site through Skype and flew in via private jet to close the deal.

Windsor Park Hall isn't an old building, unlike most of the structures around the estate. It was built in 2012 as a replica of the Wilfield House. The mansion has nine rooms and 18 bathrooms. According to reports, the Russian tycoon wanted a house where that will be great for his teenage kids and as a family escape from the city.
