Chris Evans debuted as Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger back in 2011 and has since played the character in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Still, fans were hoping that the Avengers: Infinity War actor would continue playing Captain America for at least another decade. Unfortunately, it was revealed that Avengers: Endgame would be Evans' final appearance as the comic book hero.

According to Deadline, the Captain America: The Winter Soldier star is currently in negotiations with Marvel Studios to continue playing Steve Rogers in upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films. The idea of Chris Evans returning as Captain America in a new Marvel Cinematic Universe project is truly a great one.
