Senku is now back on the small screen in Dr. Stone Season 2. As Episode 1 is now receiving praises, fans are now waiting for Episode 2's coming as Fujifabric drops the anime's new opening theme song.
The Japanese rock band finally gave a glimpse of their new single, "Rakuen (Paradise), for Dr. Stone Season 2. The group shared a 15-second look at the clip on its Twitter page, showing Senku and other characters.
It also featured the band members in a dramatic fire, dark, and floral setting with Yusuke Kobayashi narrating in the background. Kobayashi is the voice actor behind the anime's lead character, Senku.
A part of the music video also showed a quick look at Keisuke Watanabe. Anyhow, the music video is yet to be officially out, so fans have to wait for it. The song, on the other hand, will be released on Wednesday, February 3.
Meanwhile, Dr. Stone Season 2's Blu-Ray confirmed it would have 11 episodes, Epic Dope noted. The second installment will mostly focus on the Stone Wars story arc, based on Riichiro Inagaki's original manga.
Fans are about to see Senku in a fight with Hyoga in the adaptation of the Communications arc. After getting to know the Ishigami village, it's time to meet the opposing camp.
Tsukasa's camp will introduce the three new characters, Nikki, Uyo, and Yo, per CBR. As the team seems to undermine Tsukasa's rule to save everyone, these three may become allies instead of opponents.
Dr. Stone Season Episode 1 started with Gen remembering the events of the first season. Senku thought of using space food to have an advantage over Tsukasa's empire in the upcoming battle.
With Chrome and Kaseki's help, he prepared freeze-dried cup ramen. Gen then revealed to Senku that he planned to use the record of Lilian's voice to convince Tsukasa's people that the human civilization was already happening in the U.S.
This move would help to turn most of the empire's people against Tsukasa, so it would be easier for the villagers to capture him and Hyoga. Chrome then barged in, The Cinemaholic cited.
Together, they thought of a way to execute their plan. The next morning, they used sonic bombs to get Tsukasa's scout's attention and put the device near the empire.
So, in Dr. Stone Season 2 Episode 2, fans will get to see what is Tsukasa's plan that may end up with a deal with Senku and the Kingdom of Science. It will also reveal if Gen's idea will work or not.
Dr. Stone Season 2 Episode 2 is set to be out on Thursday, January 14.
