However, some creative fans have developed several ways on how to enjoy the game on a whole new different level, and that's through mini-games, custom games and mods. One of these is called Freeze Tag and those who want to know how to play this game could use this guide.
What Is The Freeze Tag Custom Game in "Among Us"
One of the popular mini-games in "Among Us" is called Freeze Tag. It was created by the popular YouTuber and content creator Socksfor1. The mod, unfortunately, is not publicly available. However, players can replicate the mod by changing the house rules and settings of the game.
The Freeze Tag mini-game is like the custom game Hide and Seek. The objective of the impostor is to tag and freeze all the crewmates while the crewmates should work to unfreeze other members until all crewmates are defrosted. The game ends when the impostor successfully freezes all the crewmates or when the cremates defrosted all members and completed all their tasks.
Freeze Tag Rules And Settings
In this mini-game, impostors are not allowed to use the Kill Button and Emergency Meetings should be switched off. There are only one or two impostors allowed in each game and they should let all the members know their identity at the start. Impostors should stay in one place and start counting out loud to 20 when everyone makes it to spawn.
While the impostor counts down, crewmates should start with doing their tasks. In this "Among Us" mode, a tag counts when an Impostor's sprite character runs through a crewmate's sprite character. The same applies when crewmates untag other members. Impostors can use the vent but they are only limited to sabotaging locked doors.
Another important part of house rules that "Among Us" players should observe when playing this mode is that both crewmates and impostors are not allowed to stand on top of one another to freeze or unfreeze another player. In other words, crewmates and impostors are not allowed to tag the same person two times in a row.
