Game developer miHoYo launched a few days ago the latest in-game event in "Genshin Impact" as part of the massive update 1.2. The new update introduced the Dragonspine region, Sheer cold mechanic, new characters and weapons. Interestingly, a plethora of leaks related to Update 1.3 surfaced online recently, and for those looking forward to the incoming update, here is the rundown of these leaks.

"Genshin Impact" Update 1.3 Events

One of the heavily anticipated events coming to "Genshin Impact" when Update 1.3 releases is the Lantern Rite event. While there are limited details about the rumored event, it seems that it focuses on Xiao and the Lantern Festival in Liyue. Another rumored event that might launch in the game is the Windbloom Festival.

The event is the counterpart of the Lantern Festival but is celebrated in the Mondstadt region. If the event series arrives alongside Update 1.3, it will mark as unique events that match the events in the real-world.

Hu Tao and Xiao are the heavily rumored characters anticipated to arrive in the game alongside Update 1.3. While these are not yet confirmed by miHoYo, character leaks are usually accurate since most of them came from data mining activities conducted on the actual game files. Other details came from the game's closed beta test build.

"Genshin Impact" Update 1.3 New Features

Update 1.3 is rumored to introduce Ge-related changes in the game. This includes changes in the effect of Enduring Rock as well as changes in the Geo Shield effect. More adjustments to Zhongli is also anticipated to happen with the release of Update 1.3.

New weapons will be introduced with the new update although there are scarce details on what these could be. It was leaked earlier that Inazuma weapons will arrive in the game via the incoming update. As revealed by an insider, the new wave of weapons will reportedly include Dendro Vision.

The insider also showed images of the leaked weapons on Twitter, which includes Bakufu, Nakurami, Wildsith, Kunwu, and Morax weaponry.

It is worth noting that all these details about Update 1.3 are unofficial. Fans are therefore advised to take this information at face value. The next update is rumored to arrive sometime in February 2021. The game developer will continuously roll out fresh content to the game every six weeks as it earlier promised.
