Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike Tindall, were thrilled to announce that they are expecting their third baby in late 2020 but the Queen's granddaughter could likely miss a major family event in the middle of this year when she is due to give birth.

A source told Daily Express that Zara entered her fourth month of pregnancy in December 2020, which means that she will likely have her baby's delivery towards the end of spring 2021. However, immediately after this, the royal family is going to celebrate two major events -- Prince Philip's 100th birthday and the resumption of the Trooping the Colour parade for the Queen's birthday.

Both events are happening in the second week of June but the Tindalls might choose to skip one celebration, if not both, if their hands are full with the new baby. Zara and Mike have two other children, Mia, 7, and Lena, 2, who still need tending to by their parents.

Married since July 2011, the couple has been through two baby losses before they had Lena. Zara suffered a miscarriage in 2016 and 2017. She confessed in an interview with The Sunday Times that it wasn't an easy matter to divulge in public, especially when she still had to go through the delivery as one of her miscarriages was "so far along." Zara also said that while her husband did not carry their baby, he was also suffering the loss.

The Queen's granddaughter, who competes as an equestrienne, said that time has been their greatest healer. It took her two years to open about the baby loss because it was too painful to talk about.

Meanwhile, Mike said in his podcast show that he's praying for a baby boy this time after two girls. He joked that he already thought of the name "Covi" for their son since the baby was conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Buckingham Palace said that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are delighted about Zara's pregnancy. But it's not just Zara who is in the family way as her cousin Princess Eugenie is also expecting her first baby.

According to reports, the York princess is already nesting at Frogmore Cottage, where she intends to raise her firstborn with husband Jack Brooksbank. Eugenie's due date is in mid-February.

Eugenie's baby will be Queen Elizabeth's ninth great-grandchild while Zara will be the 10th. The babies will also be in the line of succession but they will not have any royal titles.
