Fans will finally see what happened between Rei and Shiki in Kingdom Chapter 668. A new photo that showed the two sisters emerged, and though it confused fans, it revealed something about the two sisters.
It seems to be a mystery as to how Shiki died after a ritual. As Kai believes Rei has something to do it, the truth will finally be revealed in Kingdom Chapter 668.
According to BlockToro, the new chapter's spoilers drop a "shocking image" featuring Rei and Shiki. Here, the initial seems to be stabbing her sister, though their facial expressions suggest the opposite.
As the picture speaks a thousand words, it remains to be seen what happened at that one fateful event. It can be either that Shiki stabbed herself to complete the ritual and Rei tried to stop her or the latter can't believe she has managed to defeat her sibling.
Anyhow, in a thread on Reddit, fans seem to be confused if the woman in the photo is Kai or Shiki. One fan said he thought it was Kai but later realized it was Rei, although he was still unsure who it was.
Another suggested that they should look at the stripes on the two women's sleeves. Rei and Shiki only had one stripe on their sleeves, while Kai had two.
In addition, a Kingdom-enthusiast seemed to be sure that the other woman in the snap was Shiki. Knowing it was a norm in the manga world to feature a major flashback before a duel, it was surely a glimpse of Rei and Shiki's past.
However, it looked like some fans are not fond of the manga's break, suggesting the mini-arc should end soon. They believed the flashback is not relevant to the story and even came at the "worst time ever."
They even blamed Yasuhisa Hara for not even bothering and rushing through the story, calling it his "laziest writing up to date."
Meanwhile, Kingdom Chapter 667 mostly featured a flashback, showing Shou reprimanding Kai for never catching what they would be eating, per Digital Crime. Rei was whining about what to eat, while Shiki revealed Kai was sleeping. Shou then hit Kai, while the latter eyed her sister badly.
Back to the manga's action, Shin realized Kai was about to die. Later, he charged at Zhao and handled them all by himself.
It also revealed the result of Rei and Kai's fight and the Hi Shin Unit's fate. Elsewhere, Shin misbehaved once again and seemed to be unconfident in his position as the General.
What will happen next will be seen in Kingdom Chapter 668, which will be out on Sunday, January 31. On the other hand, its raw scans are expected to drop two to three days before its official release date comes, though fans are advised to wait for the official English translations instead.
