There is little doubt that fans are already excited about the Ahsoka Tano series. After all, it is one of the two new spin-off shows of the wildly successful The Mandalorian on Disney+. But is it possible that the Star Wars series has already started production? Rosario Dawson may have confirmed that she is already preparing to play Ahsoka all over again.

Rosario Dawson debuted as Ahsoka Tano in the fifth episode of The Mandalorian Season 2. Although she only appeared in one episode, the character's ongoing storyline was told exceptionally well to the point that some fans expected to see more of Ahsoka in the future. Not surprisingly, it was soon announced that Dawson would star in the spin-off series focusing on the former Jedi.

When the Ahsoka Tano series was announced during Disney Investor Day, it was not immediately given a release date. People believed this was because Disney and Lucasfilm are focusing on its previously confirmed Star Wars shows including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cassian Andor, and The Bad Batch. However, a new post from Rosario Dawson has fans wondering if Ahsoka has already started production.

Rosario Dawson recently posted a new video on her official Twitter account in time for Ahsoka Tano Day. In the video, Dawson offers a behind-the-scenes look at how she transforms into Ahsoka. It's an awesome glimpse at the process of applying prosthetics on an actor.

Interestingly, the video also had Star Wars fans wondering if it was recorded recently. This led to speculations that Rosario Dawson is already working on the Ahsoka Tano series.

Although it would be great to know that the Ahsoka Tano series has started production, it is believed that the video Rosario Dawson has posted is actually from her time working on The Mandalorian Season 2. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that the show will begin filming this year.

So far, the only Star Wars shows that are currently confirmed to begin production early this year are Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor. Additionally, The Book of Boba Fett has already started filming so it can be completed ahead of its December premiere later in 2021. Hopefully, Rosario Dawson will begin working on the Ahsoka Tano series before the end of the year.

The Ahsoka Tano series has not yet been given an official production start date. Likewise, it has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on the highly anticipated show.
