The truth is finally coming to light in WandaVision after four amazing episodes. Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe series started strange and confusing, the latest two episodes have revealed what is truly happening in Westview. But will WandaVision Season 1 Episode 5 feature Vision trying to escape his warped reality within the town?
In the episode "Now In Color," Geraldine's true identity was revealed. Although she was present to help deliver Wanda Maximoff and Vision's twin sons, her presence in Westview is clearly not a welcome one for some residents. Neighbors Agnes and Herb told Vision that Geraldine doesn't actually have any family or even a home in town.
So who exactly is Geraldine? Wanda Maximoff found out the hard way as she admitted to the woman that she once had a twin brother. Interestingly, Geraldine reveals that she is aware that Ultron killed Pietro Maximoff, and Wanda discovers that the woman is wearing a SWORD pendant. This leads to Wanda casting Geraldine out of Westview and the woman was immediately surrounded by SWORD agents.
In WandaVision Season 1 Episode 4, it was confirmed that Geraldine is actually Monica Rambeau, a SWORD agent who gets sent to investigate a missing person's case in Westview. It is here that Monica discovers the wall of static and is somehow pulled into the town. From there, SWORD builds a base around the area in hopes of getting Monica back.
Although Monica eventually found her way out of Westview, she might not be the only one desperate to leave the town. The sneak peek at WandaVision Season 1 Episode 5 reveals that Vision actually makes it out of the wall of static.
The WandaVision Season 1 Episode 5 sneak peek is actually a recap of everything that has happened on the show so far. However, it also features some new footage, including one of Vision discovering the wall of static surrounding Westview. In the latter part of the teaser, he is shown stepping out of the wall and collapsing on the ground.
But what happened that made Vision leave Westview? There are speculations that it has something to do with a fight with Scarlet Witch. In the last moments of the WandaVision Season 1 Episode 5 sneak peek, both Wanda and Vision are shown facing each other as they levitate and prepare to strike.
WandaVision Season 1 Episode 5 will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting February 5.
