NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 is still off-air for a few more weeks on CBS. The police procedural has been on hiatus and it is set to deliver more exciting stories once it comes back. For instance, G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Anna Kolcheck's (Bary Paly) relationship is going to be one of the major storylines.

When NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 returns, Callen will be searching for answers about Anna. He's on a mission to track down the woman that he loves. At the moment, her location is unknown and it's yet to be seen whether or not her whereabouts will be found.

Paly isn't listed as one of the guest stars in the upcoming episode of the series so her character's appearance is uncertain as of yet. Callen has already planned his future with Anna and he's sure about his proposal. However, everything goes sideways and there's a mystery as to why she's gone missing.

Callen tries to find out where Anna is and seek answers, including why she didn't tell him where she went. Their relationship encountered a lot of setbacks in the past, and now that she can't provide specific information for him, this could cause another problem for them.

Even though they love each other, Callen may feel that Anna doesn't totally trust him. But then, she could also have a valid reason as to why she did it. Perhaps, she wanted to protect him that's why she kept her location unknown for the time being.

While looking for answers about Anna, Callen also helps Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) when NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 comes back. The latter's daughter, (Kayla Smith), was kidnapped after leading citywide protests. They will search for her and try to figure out who's responsible for what happened.

The title of the upcoming episode is "The Frogman's Daughter," which is a reference to Sam's pursuit in finding Kam. There is a possibility that those who took her are connected to the protests she's leading. This makes her father even more desperate to locate her.

Aside from Callen and Sam, the next episode of NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 puts Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) in the spotlight, as well. He is set to join the department again and he'll be working with the team and go on missions with them.

Deeks has been with them over the past years even though he doesn't have an official title. Now that he's an official part of the team, he'll be able to show his skills and abilities. Some preview photos featured him doing his part and seemingly joining a protest.

NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 returns on Sunday, Feb. 14, on CBS.
