Alina Park (Laura Sohn) may need the help of Raymond "Red" Reddington in the upcoming The Blacklist season 8 episode 6. It looks like she's keeping a secret and doesn't want the Task Force to know what it is. Thus, she turned to Red to get the help that she needs.
The synopsis of The Blacklist season 8 episode 6 notes that Park will try to help a friend in trouble. In the promo, she can be seen on the phone talking to Red, saying she needs his help. She likely trusts him with her secret -- but asking him for help comes with consequences, as well.
Red may expect something in return from Park. He is doing her a favor and he'll probably ask her to do the same thing. He might need her to obtain the drive as he thinks the Task Force has it. He could also ask her to retrieve some important data that he needs.
When it comes to Park's problem, it has something to do with what she's been dealing with ever since she arrived in the department. She often does something that's beyond her line in the field and it usually puts her in trouble. This time, she's determined to help a friend -- even if that means going on Red's side.
As for what else is coming in The Blacklist season 8 episode 6, Red and Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq) will fulfill the wishes of their dear friend. This storyline is tied to Glen "Jellybean" Carter, played by the late Clark Middleton. The actor passed away in 2020 and his death made a huge impact on the series.
Previously, series creator Jon Bokenkamp made it clear that they have plans to kill off Glen in the story. He explained that it wouldn't be right for the character to exist in the world and won't be seen anymore. Hence, next week's episode will deliver a story that would wrap up his arc.
