BTS released their fourth Japanese studio album, Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey, nearly seven months ago. Following the success of the whole album, Japanese film Your Eyes Tell utilized the groups' song of the same title from the said track collection. This became the K-pop band's first-ever venture into becoming a lead artist for a movie's original soundtrack.

The initial release of the Japanese film took place last October 2020. But, considering its upcoming official cinema premiere in South Korea, the seven South Korean artists recently discussed their thoughts about the achievement.

The Korean Herald reported that Jungkook and V were the ones who mainly expressed their sentiments about the matter. The youngest member of the K-pop group, who also happens to be the composer of the melody and lyrics of "Your Eyes Tell," stated that the public will be able to feel the emotions that they have included in the song.

V then shared how everyone in BTS felt about their song being included in the movie. He said that they are "sincerely delighted," adding that they all feel "honored to be part of such a great movie."

Reports noted that the film is a Japanese remake of the 2011 South Korean romance movie, Always. It follows the story of a "once-promising kickboxer," who, later on, meets a blind woman that changes everything.

Months prior to the initial release of Your Eyes Tell, BTS released a "prepared statement" after learning about their then-latest score. Variety reported that the group, especially Jungkook, emphasized how "glad" they were to be part of the film.

The official comments also said that their track, "Your Eyes Tell," perfectly "goes well with beautiful and profound love portrayed in the film." The seven members, later on, revealed their hopes for the audience's enjoyment, noting that they wish for every viewer to feel the emotions they poured in writing the song.

Apart from sharing their excitement toward the film's premiere in South Korea, BTS is currently gearing up for the release of their Unplugged special feature on MTV this month. Forbes said that the episode will arrive days after the release of BE (Essential Edition), and fans will certainly "love" it.

Based on the official announcement, which MTV publicized on Tuesday, the K-pop stars will bring their "own iteration of the iconic Unplugged format to life straight from Seoul, South Korea."

The special feature will drop on the network on February 23 at 9 p.m., EST. It remains unclear, though, what songs the group will perform during the set. Nevertheless, a trailer has already been released on the same day of the announcement.
