Years have passed since fans and followers witnessed characters from Hunter x Hunter on small screens. Similarly, manga readers continue to miss out on the figures due to its year-long hiatus.
Amid the vague updates as to when the storyline will continue on small screens and manga comics, CBR released a different take on the material. Considering that Attack On Titan has become one of today's most trending anime series, the publication analyzed which of the characters from the former have the ability to defeat titan figures.
Kite is Ging Freecss' former student. He is one of the strongest supporting protagonists on Hunter x Hunter. With his nen abilities and swordsmanship, Kite can ultimately defeat a titan.
While he met his demise during his battle against Neferpitou in the Chimera Ant arc, some argued that his strength allows him to continue to live on. As a result, he resurrected himself from the dead, a move that the publication deems as an equal to one of the series' strongest antagonists.
Alongside Kite, another protagonist that can defeat a character from Attack On Titan is Netero. It is believed that his famous 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva can take down any of his opponents, including even a titan.
Meruem is the strongest character in the Hunter x Hunter series. No one was able to defeat him in a battle because of his strength and powers, not even Netero.
Although he did die in the last part of the Chimera Ant arc, it was only due to an illness, which Netero inflicted when he sacrificed himself. Hence, it will not come as a surprise if he defeats a titan monster or human character from Attack On Titan.
The other two characters that can, also, meet victory against titans are Feitan and Zeno Zoldyck. Being one of the Phantom Troupe's strongest members, alongside his speed, this can seal the fate of a titan.
As for Zoldyck, he has "immense combat knowledge and dangerous abilities at his disposal." There is a reason why he is the head of a family of assassins.
In other news, many fans and avid followers believe that Hunter x Hunter will likely continue its course on small screens. This comes after the voice actors for Gon and Killua recently posted vague updates on social media, according to Comic Book.
On Instagram, Megumi Han, who voiced Gon's character, shared a photo and hinted at the caption that she would be working again with her "partner, at long last." Similarly, Mariya Ise, who played the part for Killua, seemingly echoed the statements of her partner on set via Twitter.
They did not, however, confirm whether they are working on new Hunter x Hunter episodes. But, several netizens concluded that they are likely working on it in secret.
