TREASURE member Haruto is the first to admit that he doesn't have a healthy lifestyle and said that he didn't drink water "for a week" because of this.
Haruto claimed that instead of water, he mostly drank Powerade and soft drinks like Coke and Sprite. However, he didn't reveal if this had an adverse outcome for his health.
This is just one of the many secrets that TREASURE fans might not know about the group.
Yoshi also claims to have an unhealthy habit because he's used to not changing his socks for two days straight. Junghwan, on the other hand, revealed that he likes to count hair strands but didn't share why he does this habit.
Hyunsuk said that he obsessed with his height because he was told, as a child that he could grow up to 187 centimeters tall. He's currently just at 171 centimeters.
TREASURE is the latest South Korean boyband to attract global attention following their worldwide debut in August 2020. In just a short span of time, the group was named Global Super Rookies, Rookie Artist of the Year and Worldwide Fans' Choice from various award-giving bodies. Fans love the band more for their charity work when they are not doing music or preparing for a show.
Formed in 2018 by YG Entertainment, TREASURE originally had 29 young trainees under their YG Treasure Boxprogram. Haruto was one of the first members picked for the group, alongside Ye-dam, Jeong-woo, Jung-hwan, Jae-hyuk, Hyun-suk and Junkyu.
By the next year, YG Entertainment added members Mashiho, Yoon-bin, Yoshinori, Doyoung, Jihoon and Asah for the second batch. When Yoon-bin left for a solo career, the first and second batches were merged at the end of 2019.
The group jumpstarted 2020 with pictorials, performances and public appearances but their fame and careers took off in the middle of the year when their album The First Step: Chapter One soared at Billboard's Social 50.
Amid their fame, however, TREASURE has also received criticisms from K-pop fans, prompting their loyal followers to ask YG Entertainment to take action and protect their artists. According to reports, a certain user on Namuwiki, an open-source Wiki page, has been bashing TREASURE endlessly by messing up the profile page of the group.
Fans of TREASURE expressed their frustration on social media. They claimed that some of the band members have had their profiles fabricated and insulted by other K-pop fans. YG Entertainment has yet to act on the matter.
