Callen and Anna have been through a lot already, but there's still uncertainty when it comes to their romantic relationship. The latter's location was unknown over the past few episodes, which makes their situation even more complicated.
During the early episodes of the current season, Callen tried to propose to Anna. He is determined to marry her but he's struggling to ask the question. When he found the courage to do what's on his mind, she suddenly disappeared and went somewhere else.

He does not let a lot of people in his life, and it would hurt him if he finds out that the person he loves betrays him.
Meanwhile, the latest promo shows how Callen discovers Anna's whereabouts. He was able to find her when he and Devin Rountree (Caleb Castille) scout for a location. As shown in the clip, he was shocked when she suddenly showed up in the area that they're investigating.
