Fans are about to see Combat Agent No. 6 on the small screen as Combatants Will Be Dispatched anime will soon hit the small screens. The anti-heroic protagonist will begin his journey on TV as it is now getting an anime adaptation.
Combatants Will Be Dispatched anime will be about an evil agent and a chibi android that will take on different adventures. However, the series' hero will be a different one, as he is all about money, promotion, and pleasure.
Agent Six's partner will always be by his side to put him in his place. However, fans may never see him letting go of his proud attitude. The trailer, via Epic Dope, shows Agent Six duped by his own organization.
He will be sent to another planet using a machine that has not been used before. As no one knows if this device will work, it looks like it will just be the beginning of his series of bad luck.
The agent will then find himself stuck on the foreign planet longer than he expects. Beasts then start chasing him, and women, though questionable, are going to meet him in Combatants Will Be Dispatched.
Agent Six is slowly losing his fate to return to his home planet to attain the promotion that he has been dreaming. Sadly, he may remain longer in this unknown world.
Meanwhile, Miyu Tomita will be joining the series to voice Alice Kisaragi's character, while Yusuke Shirai will play the role of Agent Six. Sayaka Kikuchi also joins the cast as Snow, Natsumi Murakami as Rose, and Minami Takahashi as Grim.
Anime News Network added Miku Ito would be performing Combatants Will Be Dispatched opening theme song, "No. 6." In contrast, voice actresses Tomita, Kikuchi, Murakami, and Takashi will perform the ending song, "Home Sweet Home" while in their characters.
J.C. Staff will be the anime's studio under the direction of Hiroaki Akai. Yukie Sugawara will be handling the scripts, Sota Suwa will be taking the character designs, and Masato Koda will be composing the music at Nippon Columbia.
Combatants Will Be Dispatched is originally a Japanese light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kakao Lanthanum, per AniTrendz. It tells the story of an agent, Combat Agent No. 6, who is on the front lines of an evil organization, Kisaragai Secret Society.
He has been sent to a distant foreign world to do a reconnaissance mission. Here, he finds a new android partner, though he still has no idea how he will do an "interstellar invasion of a fantasy world."
Combatants Will Be Dispatched will premiere on Sunday, April 4. Fans can start streaming it on Funimation.
