Black Clover Episode 169 will mostly feature Nacht, which means fans will soon see Liebe in the anime series. The show is now inching closer to the manga storyline, so it's gradually starting to feature the intense turn of events.
Black Clover Episode 169 will bear the title "The Devil Binding Ritual." The name seems to hint at Asta's devil magic that will show off his devil, Liebe.
The new installment's synopsis, via BlockToro, reveals Noelle and her teammates will be caught in an explosion that Vanica did by using her magic as the battle in the Heart Kingdom continues. They will later wake up at a place where the Heart Kingdom hits the elf tribe.
Here, they will be meeting people they will never expect. Elsewhere, Asta will start learning how to use devil magic with the help of Nacht.
However, it has been known that this method is dangerous as he has to use the forbidden magic. But for Asta to defeat the Dark Triad, he has to master the devil's power and overcome the challenges that come with it in Black Clover Episode 169.
Meanwhile, the new episode's preview shows Noelle and others finding themselves in a strange place and meeting a new breed of people. It also reveals Nacht taking Asta to a different area to begin teaching him with devil magic.
In Black Clover Episode 168, Zenon took Yami and William away, while Asta successfully defeated Dante. Zenon then returned and put the whole Black Bull squad down, OtakuKart News noted.
Sadly, after his fight with Dante, Asta was too exhausted to face Zenon anymore. The only thing that he could do was to watch how he took the two captains away.
