The Promised Neverland Season 2 began its course earlier in January. While the production met with several delays last year due to the pandemic, it officially arrived in Japan and some other Asian countries as soon as it could.

To date, fans and avid viewers have already witnessed the first ten episodes of the latest installment. However, it is only limited to those who have access to various local Japanese networks, Funimation, and Hulu until this April.

As it happens, the English dub of the second season of the highly anticipated anime series will finally come to ToonamiComic Book Resources reported that the network has already confirmed the news on Thursday.

On Facebook, Toonami's official page announced its acquisition of The Promised Neverland Season 2, as well as its lineup on the day of the premiere. Based on the list, it appears that the English dub episodes will replace Fire Force Season 2 on the anime block schedule.

Comic Book released a similar report about the latest developments on the network's April lineup. As noted, it will premiere on April 10 at 1:30 in the morning.

Anime lovers who are fond of watching materials in its English-dubbed versions will likely find this news exciting. Nevertheless, while waiting for its arrival, though, the episodes airing on the official networks offer English subtitles for non-Japanese speakers.

While the anticipation and hype continue to rise up, the same publication said that many individuals are not happy with how The Promised Neverland Season 2 is going. As claimed, the first few episodes have received mixed receptions and reviews from the public due to several reasons.

Reports said that some fans noticed a few problems with the "pacing" of the second season. But, what "dropped the ball," though, is the skipping of a major arc from the original manga series.

As explained, the "Goldy Pond" arc is not included in the second installment of the anime series. This, then, reportedly, sparked a lot of debates and talks among fans and viewers considering that the said arc is one of the best and most memorable courses in the entire series.

The rest of The Promised Neverland Season 2 continues to source its materials, though, from Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu's manga of the same title. It still follows the iconic group of children after they escape the farm. The latest installment mostly sees them in the demon world as they try to survive through all the hurdles in their new environment.
