Moriarty the Patriot Part 2 will soon hit the small screens, making it one of the most anticipated parts of the fall anime line-up. Based on the Ryōsuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi manga series of the same name, fans will once against see Moriarty and Sherlock's different kind of story.
Moriarty the Patriot Part 2 is still inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic detective story of Sherlock Holmes. However, instead of the protagonist, it mainly centers on the antagonist, Moriarty.
But there's a huge twist. Instead of showing him as the villain, Moriarty has been portrayed as almost a hero despite his crimes and being the world's only criminal consultant.
A number of visuals and trailers about the anime's second part have been dropped, teasing what will happen next to the fan-favorite big bad. The newest graphic shows Moriarty and Sherlock standing back-to-back.
They seem to represent the two sides of the coin, using London as their background. There are bloodstains on Moriarty's side, while a beautiful landscape can be seen on Sherlock's part.

According to Epic Dope, Moriarty the Patriot Part 2 will broaden the gap between Sherlock and Moriarty as they continuously compete with each other's incredible wits.
On the other hand, its official preview teased the second part's nearing arrival. It opens with Moriarty's trademark dialogue, "Catch me if you can, Mr. Holmes."
It then shows Sherlock willingly accepting the challenge. The clip also unveils the arrival of the much-awaited character, Irene Adler.
By the looks of it, Sherlock and John Watson now have to chase two people in Moriarty the Patriot Part 2, Irene and Moriarty. Meanwhile, the franchise's official website revealed major details about the anime series' continuation.
It will have a new opening theme song, titled "Twisted Hearts," by Tasuku Hatanaka, while the ending theme song, "Omega," will be sung by Stereo Dive Foundation, Anime News Network noted. Yoko Hikasa will also join the series to play the role of the former prima donna Irene.
In a couple of weeks, fans are about to see the battle between the good and the bad in the anime series' second part. After Mycroft's introduction in the first installment, its continuation will undoubtedly be as exciting as its predecessor, The Mary Sue noted.
Moriarty the Patriot Part 2 will be out on Sunday, April 4, on Tokyo MX, Tuesday, April 6, on BS11 and MBS, and Monday, April 12, in Japan. The international viewers can also see it on Funimation, Wakanim, and Muse Asia YouTube channel.
