Yashahime gave their fans a double treat at the end of the anime's first season. Aside from giving them an explosive finale, the franchise quickly announced the coming of Yashahime Season 2.
The next generation of demon slayers will surely return to continue their parents' legacy in Yashahime Season 2. There are a lot of mysteries that are yet to resolve, so fans can expect to get the answer to all their questions in the next season.
Moroha hasn't met her parents yet, while viewers are still waiting to see Inuyasha and Kagome's appearance in the series. Will it finally happen in the second season?
By the looks of it, the second installment will be focusing on Towa Higurashi, Sesshomaru, and Rin's daughter, instead, Epic Dope noted. The new visual dropped, along with the announcement, gave a glimpse of Setsuna's twin sister in her full glory.

Does this mean she can finally master her demon form in Yashahime Season 2? Towa can only transform when she experiences great emotional pains, unlike other half-demons who can change when they're in a dangerous situation.
With this tease, more visuals may come, featuring Moroha and Setsuna and hinting at their essential parts in the series. There may also be another time-warp or a time travel sequence after the girls managed to connect the dots.
Kirinmaru's fate, on the other hand, remains to be seen. If the girls want to put him down altogether, they still need to up their powers.
According to Comicbook, though Yashahime Season 2's official plotline remains under lock and key, the first season finale teased what might happen next. It introduced new elements that might be explored in the second season.
Of course, it continuously posed questions about the original characters, like Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. So, what really happened to them after the original series?
The first Inuyasha anime series was a huge success, featuring 167 episodes centering on Inuyasha and Kagome's adventure. It debuted in 2000 and concluded in 2010 with a fairly conclusive ending. So, it was a massive shock to many when a prequel happened a decade after it ended.
Now, their offspring are continuing their journey in the magical universe that is known all over the world. Though Yashahime Season 2's release date is yet to be revealed, fans are surely now excited to see it.
