Dating rumors between BTS member Jungkook and BLACKPINK member Lisa have been stirring for months and since none of them have spoken up about the real status of their relationship, the speculations haven't died down as well.

Jungkook was once asked about his dating life during an interview with Esquire in December 2020. The BTS member was coy about his response and said that he'd rather catch up on sleep than go on dates. Jungkook also said that a romantic life isn't his priority because his schedule with BTS is very hectic.

Despite this, his links to Lisa won't die down among the fans who firmly believe that something special is going on between the two. Lisa, on the other hand, has always been mum about her personal life.

According to reports, members of K-pop groups are discouraged from talking about their relationships in public. For some, especially the younger K-pop idols like Jungkook and Lisa, being romantically involved is discouraged as it could get in the way of their work.

BLACKPINK members Rose and Jennie told Elle that they don't have enough time for social life as members of a music group because their schedules are filled with recordings and rehearsals. Thus, many of these young idols remain single until they stop working for the band.

As far as the fans know, Jungkook is still happily single. However, he has also been linked to other K-pop stars and South Korean personalities. In 2019, BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment was forced to issue a statement after Jungkook was allegedly spotted on camera with a girl.

The camera footage turned out to be Jungkook with his childhood friend. Big Hit Entertainment said that the video release was taken illegally and that it was a violation of their privacy.

Meanwhile, Jungkook and BTS were recently featured on You Quiz on the Block in South Korea. When he was asked for what kind of advice he would tell his younger self to avoid mistakes, the BTS star said that there was nothing he could say because the bad experiences helped shape who he is today.

Jungkook also admitted that he struggled to find meaning in his life when he first moved to Seoul to pursue a career. He experienced homesickness and cried in his sleep because of it. However, once he focused on work and improved on his singing voice as the main vocals for BTS, he realized that he needs to prove what he can do to no one but himself only.
