EXO members are continuing to work on their respective solo careers these past few years. Some of the idols who have released their own works include Kai, whose album persists in breaking various platform records.

AllKpop reported that the 27-year-old South Korean artist has seemingly reached a new milestone in the music industry, especially in the world of K-Pop. As it happened, his mini-album, KAI, has now become the "fastest SM solo album" to surpass 60 million streams on Spotify.

The publication reiterated that the six tracks in the album account for the overall stream figures in the record. Among all the songs, it is Kai's "Mmmh" that has the highest number of streams, with a total figure of 33,090,993 and counting.

The same report, also, recalled that the EXO member's most popular solo track once even became the "longest-charting" K-Pop song on the platform's Global Viral 50 chart. Based on the record, "Mmmh" bagged first place for 60 days on the said list.

Apart from Spotify, Kai has an impressive record, as well, on iTunes. As explained, his mini-album holds the record for the EP that has the "most numbers ones" in the history of the platform.

Kai, alongside EXO, officially dropped the album in November. Bandwagon released an extensive report about the track collection, even prior to its actual release date.

As noted, the K-Pop group "blew up" various social media channels when they confirmed their member's first solo album. They even said that it would "open a new world of musicXperformanceXstyle."

Weeks before the premiere, Kai teased some details about the track, "Mmmh." He described the single as a "charming, straightforward love song that captures" his attitude and confidence.

Months after Kai dropped the album, he reached another height earlier in February. Buzzfeed released a report on the matter, detailing what happened with the EXO member.

Esquire Korea featured the K-Pop idol in his first collection with Gucci. The brand's creative director Alessandro Michele oversaw the design but, the inspiration all, reportedly, came from Kai, especially his love for teddy bears. In fact, some of the photos from the collection feature the EXO member, alongside his favorite plushy.

Reports, later on, said that the "Nothing On Me" singer became the first Korean artist to collaborate with Gucci following the campaign. Moreover, he, also, became the first K-Pop personality to have a line of clothes from the brand named after him.
