More than a year has passed since Castlevania Season 3 arrived on Netflix. Fans waited for nearly two years before the third installment premiered on the streaming platform.

The same thing may happen again as the fandom continues to wait for the fourth season's release. As it happens, no word has been given yet about the show's upcoming all-new episodes.

Amid the waiting game, though, VIZ Media released a trailer on social media. To the surprise of followers, instead of witnessing a teaser material for Season 4, they obtained a minute-long clip featuring the English trailer of Season 3 with an indication that it is now available on Blu-ray/DVD.

Comic Book released a report on the event, revealing the details of the recently released teaser. As noted, the video only informs the public that fans now have the opportunity to own Castlevania Season 3 in physical form.

The same publication, also, emphasized that the trailer is a "celebration" to mark the physical release of the latest episodes. It features "how the supernatural world continues with new threats," alongside some of the notable characters of the series. These include Carmilla and her sisters, as well as Isaac, the Devil Forger.

The post, which dropped on Twitter on Wednesday, has since obtained over 675 likes and nearly a hundred retweets. A few netizens, also, shared their thoughts in the comment section of the tweet.

The comments, however, did not portray any excitement toward the Blu-ray/DVD release of Castlevania Season 3. As it happened, the majority of the respondents thought that the trailer is for the fourth installment of the highly acclaimed anime series.

Several Twitter users consequently utilized the opportunity to ask VIZ Media about the arrival of Season 4. Some of them even claimed that the rest of the fandom is still waiting for further updates regarding the new installment.

Unfortunately for the avid fans and viewers, there is little information about the continuation of Castlevania Season 3. Oracle Globe released a report about Season 4, stating that the details remain scarce even after nearly 13 months of waiting.

The publication explained, however, that there is a "set pattern of time gap" between the installments. Based on this timeline, it is likely that details of Castlevania Season 4 may start to emerge after a "good 15 months."

As explained, the pilot installment dropped in July 2017. Fans waited for about 15 months to witness the second season of the show, which officially premiered in October 2018.

16 months later, the ten episodes of Castlevania Season 3 arrived on Netflix. Accordingly, there is a possibility that Season 4 may follow the same time gap and officially drop in the next few months.
