The Penthouse season 2 finale will be introducing two new characters once it arrives this weekend on SBS. Only one episode is left but there are several questions that needed to be answered. Now, the entrance of On Joo Wan and Park Ho San's characters will further shake up the story.
In The Penthouse season 2 finale, On Joo Wan is set to play the role of Joon Gi. As seen in the preview, he is sitting beside Logan Lee (Park Eun Suk) on the plane. Both of them were in a first-class seat and wearing expensive suits. Joon Gi warmly looks at Logan and said "so we meet."
Based on the appearance of On Joo Wan's character, he comes from a prominent background. Also, it seems like he has connections to a lot of characters -- though it's yet to be seen how he's going to be involved in the final episode.
Park Ho San, on the other hand, will portray Yoo Dong Pil in The Penthouse season 2 finale. The character is Kang Ma Ri's (Shin Eun Kyung) husband and Yoo Jenny's (Jin Ji Hee) father. It was initially believed that he's living in Dubai to take care of their business.
However, it turned out that he's gone for years because he's serving his time in prison. This was revealed during the fourth episode of the current season, where Kang Ma Ri warned Joo Dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon) she would tell everyone her husband was sent to jail because of him.
In the preview of The Penthouse season 2 finale, Yoo Dong Pil was finally released in prison. The newly-released stills also showed the character wearing extravagant clothe while smirking. It would be interesting to see how his relationship with Joo Dan Tae will change after his time in jail
The production crew noted that both On Joo Wan and Park Ho San have been "synchronized 100 percent with their characters" during filming. It was also confirmed that Joon Gi and Yoo Dong Pil will continue to appear in the third season.
Meanwhile, other questions must be addressed in the upcoming episode, including whether or not Oh Yoon Hee die will die. Also, it's yet to be revealed if Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) and Joo Dan Tae will experience downfall or crawl back to the top.
The Penthouse season 2 finale airs on Friday, April 2, at 10 PM KST on SBS.
