The latest teaser of Law School was recently released, highlighting what's coming for the characters. The South Korean drama centers on law students and professors in the country's top law school. Eventually, they'll work together to uncover the truth surrounding an unusual case.
Kim Bum is set to play Han Joon Hwi, while Ryu Hye Young as Kang Sol A. The latest highlight video of Law School introduced the prestigious school known as "bloody battlefield." It gathers all the top and genius students who excel in South Korea.
Aside from Han Joon Hwi passing the exam, another student named Kang Sol B (Lee Soo Kyung) was able to enter the school. However, the top students are intimidated by Yang Jong Hoon (Kim Myung Min), a former elite prosecutor who is now a criminal law professor.
The previously released still of Law School featured Yang Jong Hoon walking around while scanning the entire lecture hall. But while he makes his students nervous with his presence, his goal is to help them become confident with themselves.
Kang Sol A, on the other hand, managed to enter the school through special screening. But then, she feels down seeing the other genius students around her. She was further discouraged when Yang Jong Hoon asked her during her first day in the lecture.
Then, the professor revealed that he won't produce "even one scoundrel of a legal professional" even if he can't make his students into respectable legal professionals. Things get twisted in Law School when the dead body of Seo Byung Joo (Ahn Nae Sang).
It is believed that the former chief prosecutor turned professor has been murdered, though the event surrounding his death is in question. Eventually, suspicions surrounding the students and other professors surfaced. Yang Jong Hoon became one of the suspects in the crime.
Seo Byung Joo and Yang Jong Hoon have a hidden backstory, something that out the on bad terms. The students were shocked upon learning that their professor is a suspect for the crime. However, everyone becomes a suspect due to their apparent connection to the case.
Han Joon Hwi is on the list as he loses his composure every time he hears Seo Byung Joo. Perhaps, there is a deeper connection between the two. But then, it also looks like Kang Sol B and Seo Ji Ho (David Lee) know something about what happened to the professor.
Law School premieres on Wednesday, April 14, at 9 PM KST, on JTBC.
