Fans will surely miss Song Joong Ki's on-screen character, Vincenzo Cassano, as Vincenzo will take one-week hiatus before it returns on the small screen. tvN announced Episodes 17 and 18's delay to work on its quality.

Song once again revealed his superb acting style in Episode 16 as he started to cry in front of his on-screen mom, Yoon Bok In. Sadly, fans still have to wait for two weeks more before seeing what happens in Vincenzo.

According to AllKpop, tvN revealed the break was to improve the upcoming episodes' quality. The staff said they were doing their best to provide the "best possible drama quality" for the series.

Instead of Episodes 17 and 18, a special Vincenzo episode will be out on Saturday, April 17. On the other hand, a completely different program will drop on Sunday, April 18.

Meanwhile, Soompi noted the show experienced an incredible rating increase when it released Episode 16. Nielsen Korea revealed the series scored an average nationwide rating of 10.6%. It successfully took the top spot of its time slot across all cable channels.

The show's previous episode showed Vincenzo sharing an emotional moment with his birth mom, Oh Kyung Ja. It had been known that Song's character was adopted by an Italian family at a young age and grew up as a great Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere in Italy.

As he is of Korean descent, he returned to his home country after getting into a huge conflict with his organization. Here, he met the sharp-tongued lawyer Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) and started working together to take the villains down who remained un-punishable by law.

He would then meet his birth mom and assisted him in her wheelchair as they went near a forest. The two started to tear up, though Oh Kyung Ja didn't know that Vincenzo was her real child yet.

He looked sorrowful, while his mom seemed to be full of regrets. Episode 16 also showed the villains trying to get rid of Vincenzo.

After he got dragged into the issue of President Oh's death, Vincenzo quickly made a move and worked with the Geumga Plaza family. Together, they would try their best to find the real culprit.

What would happen from here would be seen when Vincenzo Episodes 17 and 18 finally drop on Saturday, April 24, and Sunday, April 25, respectively.
