Fans will soon see a glimpse of Denji in the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man. The franchise's official Twitter page announced its first trailer would drop at the upcoming celebration of Studio MAPPA's 10th anniversary.

After Tatsuki Fujimoto's original manga series ended on Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last year, there were major announcements about the series' future made. The manga will have a second part that will continue in a different magazine, while Chainsaw Man anime will come.

According to Comicbook, the anime adaptation was announced in December 2020, but there were only a few details about it. The only thing known about the series was MAPPA would produce it.

With the coming MAPPA Stage 2021 -- 10th Anniversary -- event, it will be holding a special stage panel for the upcoming series. It will feature the manga editor Shihei Rin and the MAPPA president Manabu Otsuka.

 

Several reports confirmed the anime's first-ever trailer would debut at the said event. It may also drop new information about the series, like its plotline and release date.

Chainsaw Man's Twitter page and the anime teaser website reveal a link to MAPPA's 10th-anniversary event website, Polygon noted. It features the series' art on the schedule, teasing what fans may see at the upcoming celebration.

MAPPA has been known for handling the final season of the Attack on Titan anime series and Jujutsu Kaisen. With the superb works these two shows feature, fans have high expectations for the upcoming new anime.

Denji's story used to be the most popular manga tale in the world during its two-year run. It features the life of Denji, a poor young man who will do anything for money, even if it means he has to hunt down the devils with his devil-dog Pochita's help.

Denji is just a simple man who has simple dreams but is controlled by the debts he has to pay. Things will then change after someone he trusts betrays him. With the devil's power inside him, Denji will become a brand new person called Chainsaw Man.

So far, the manga's first four volumes have been released and now available for fans to read, per The Nerd Stash. The fifth volume, on the other hand, will be out on June 1.

Fans will finally get a glimpse of Denji in Chain Saw anime's official trailer when MAPPA's 10th anniversary occurs on Sunday, June 27.
