It will take a long while before fans see what will happen next in Kaguya-Sama Chapter 226. The manga will go on a two-week break after the latest episode's release. There will be a significant delay in its publication with the upcoming holiday in Japan and Aka Akasaka's hiatus.
A lot is happening in Miyuki and Kaguya's story, so Kaguya-Sama Chapter 226 will surely take their tale to the next level. It will also delve into other characters' storylines as the manga, reportedly, nears its conclusion.
According to BlockToro, the new chapter's release has been moved into two Sundays due to the Golden Week Holidays happening in Japan. There will be several holidays happening in a week, so there will be a one-week off.
The other break, on the other hand, will be taken by Akasaka himself. The mangaka will take a personal leave that will put Kaguya-Sama Chapter 226 into a lengthy hiatus.
Kaguya-Sama Chapter 225 showed the class 3-A homeroom teacher Hikaru Oobayashi smoking in the Suichini smoking area. The principal ordered him transferred from the public high school, so he now worked here, OtakuKart News noted.
He would be part of Suichin as the new class was about to start this year. Hikaru later realized the new school he belonged in was full of famous and wealthy students.
As he started teaching, he could hear the students talking, but he couldn't understand everything they were saying. He listened to the boys' discussion, so he opened the door a little to hear them.
At the time, Miyuki was with Mikaido and other students. They asked Miyuki something, but the latter refused to answer. Mikaido demanded Miyuki to answer back since he already slept with a woman.
Meanwhile, as everybody now knows that Miyuki and Kaguya are in a relationship, it looks like Kaguya-Sama is about to come to a close. Comicbook reported it is already on its final stretch, and Akasaka is now preparing for its ending.
The manga creator even said before that he already went "too far off its story" than what he expected.
Though its anime adaptation is about to have a third season, its manga version may soon end. The manga started its serialization in 2015, and it had now been running for about six years.
So after its 200th chapter's release, Akasaka revealed the series was in its "final phase." However, he didn't tell how long the manga would run or how many chapters were left.
The series is now on its 225th chapter, and Kaguya-Sama Chapter 226 will drop on Thursday, May 13.
