Fans are now looking forward to the coming of the anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's hit manga series, Chainsaw Man. Though details about the new show remain scarce, the creator himself gives the much-awaited update about it.

Just like Chainsaw Man fans, it looks like Fujimoto himself is excited to see his work adapted on the small screen. As it is now one of the most anticipated anime releases, here is what the mangaka has to say about it.

In an interview with Anime News Network, the manga creator reveals he is very comfortable working with the team handling the series, MAPPA. He explains he feels at ease to leave things to the people running the anime, giving him no worries or anything.

Fujimoto admits he has no experience working in anime series, so he is just leaving all the works to them. According to Comicbook, though the interview doesn't give any update about the upcoming anime's storyline, it is good news after all.

It has been known that working on an animated series can be a tricky one, especially if it becomes dicier and has a violent theme like Chainsaw Man. The series carried the perfect combination of gory scenes and self-exploration.

As the manga perfectly captures it all, it may be hard to adapt on the small screens, especially with fans' high expectations. Anyhow, as MAPPA handles it, Fujimoto is confident that it can do the work perfectly.

CBR noted great anticipation is surrounding the upcoming series due to the MAPPA's exquisite track record. It has been known that MAPPA is behind some of the excellent anime series, like Attack on Titan Season 4 and Jujutsu Kaisen, which both turn out to be successful.

However, it can't be denied that Chainsaw Man is already a big franchise with the success of its manga, selling over 9 million copies since it started in 2018. There is a massive demand for its merchandise, too, even before the anime's announcement.

Meanwhile, fans will soon see an official update about the series after its Twitter account dropped a link to MAPPA's 10th-anniversary event website, per Polygon. It features the title's art, accompanied by a schedule, hinting it will be part of the upcoming event in June.

However, it remains to be seen if it will finally drop an official trailer, the release date's announcement, or just more art. The series' anime adaptation was first announced in December 2020.
