Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) will be feeling a lot of emotions in The Good Doctor season 4 episode 15. The medical case they have to take on could personally impact him as it involves two young gunshot victims. After all, he and his girlfriend, Lea (Paige Spara), are expecting a baby.

The synopsis notes that "after a political protest turns violent, the team races to save two young gunshot victims." It's yet to be seen how these two kids were caught in such a situation, as it's clear that they were just victims and not the exact target of the gunman.
Meanwhile, there is also a question on how far Lea's pregnancy will play out given that the renewal for the fifth installment hasn't been made. Yet, she may give birth before the season 4 finale and new stories will be opened in the potential season 5.
Shaun and Lea will be navigating a new chapter of their lives, particularly on becoming parents. Both of them will learn a lot of things and parenthood could open more opportunities for them. However, there are still several challenges and problems coming for them as a couple.
Elsewhere in The Good Doctor season 4 episode 15, there is a new face showing up in the series. It has been confirmed that Chasing Life and Designated Survivor alumna Italia Ricci will guest star in this week's episode. But, her role remains unknown right now.
The Good Doctor season 4 episode 15 is titled "Waiting" and it will be airing on Monday, April 26, on ABC.
